Coach Jeff Chandler

2007-Present
Coach Chandler started swimming year round at age 5 and swam competitively until 20. Jeff graduated from Tokay High School in Lodi California where he was a three sport Varsity Letterman from 3 years in Water Polo, Wrestling and Swimming. He earned All-American status his senior year in water polo as well as League M.V.P. and 1st Team All-Section. Jeff graduated from Modesto Junior College with his A.A. At Modesto, Jeff earned Water Polo and Swimming All-American honors in both years of attendance. He is one of two 4 time All-Americans in school history allowing Jeff to be enshrined in the Modesto Junior College Athletic Hall of Fame. Jeff graduated from California State University Stanislaus with a B.S. in Geography.

Jeff started coaching after his stint in Modesto, returning to his alma mata coaching J.V. Water Polo and Swimming winning titles in four straight years. He was named the Girls Head Coach from Water Polo and Swimming, where he turned out several All-Americans. Jeff then took some time off from coaching to finish his degree. He returned to coaching as an assistant at the University of Pacific in Stockton California. Jeff coached as an assistant for both Men’s and Women’s teams and was the local water polo club developmental coach. Jeff then returned to Tokay High School as the Head Water Polo and Swimming Coach and taught Life Skills for the Special Education Department.

Jeff moved to Texas in 2007 to become the Cy Creek High School Swimming and Water Polo Coach. Jeff was the Regional Co-coach of the Year for boys in water polo and the District Coach of the Year for girls and Co-Coach of the Year for boys in swimming in 2007-08. In addition, he was the 2010 Girls Regional Coach of the Year in water polo and the 2010 Boys District Coach of the year in swimming.

Jeff’s parents Charles and Elaine live in Arizona and are both retired teachers. Jeff’s younger brother, Jess and wife, Jennifer have two beautiful girls Harley and Riley.
